Grandma is hosting a Treasures of the Caribbean dinner!

Now that The Kobe House has partnered with The Groves , a residential senior citizens care facility in Independence, Mo., with a 100-resident Alzheimer unit, to present this always sold-out event, there will be more room at the "dinner" table.

Joe and Kathleen Woods, founders of the Fund, see the expanded event reaching a larger attendance and thus creating potential for more grants to benefit those with Alzheimer’s.

Honorary hosts for the evening are Anne and Wallace Smith.

A special feature is Dr. Cameron Camp, an international speaker and developer of Montessori Dementia Programming. Dr. Camp has done extensive research and published books for use with dementia patients. Currently, one of his programs is in place at The Groves.

Thank you to these businesses and organizations for sponsoring Grandma's Dinner this year (Click here).

There are still sponsorships and corporate tables available. Contact us for more information.

Go to "For More Information" to apply for a Grandma's Alzheimer's Fund Grant.

The Kobe House Bakery is pleased to offer limited edition card and coaster sets, featuring artwork by local Alzheimer patients, available now for Holiday gifting.
All sales will benefit Grandma's Alzheimer Fund.
